is a veteran long-distance hiker and triple crowner having completed end-to-end hikes of the Appalachian Trail, Continental Divide Trail and two hikes of the Pacific Crest Trail. In addition to the "Big 3" he has also hiked the John Muir Trail and Colorado Trail in his 12,000+ miles of long-distance hiking since 1999. He filmed, edited and produced the trail documentary entitled "The Walkumentary" which covered his 2006 southbound Continental Divide Trail hike.

Maroon Bells Wilderness, CO - Having a Wilderness Area of this caliber right out my backdoor has provided an amazing high altitude training ground for me. With high passes in the 13,000' range, this area gets me ready to go for just about any hike I plan to take on.
Current Plans:
In 2009 Disco will be hitting a number of trails in the San Juan and West Elk mountains of Colorado in addition to attempting a 5-day thru-hike of the Tahoe Rim Trail. Branching out a bit he will attempt his 1st trail marathon in mid June in New Mexico.
