This handy product meets the ultralight criteria of dual use and lighter materials. The foon is a very nice rendition of a combination fork/spoon, with a generous 'bowl' size, and effectively engineered tines. Manufactured from tough Lexan resin, it's virtually unbreakable.
It's a handy 7.25" (18 cm.) long, short enough to stow easily, but long enough to generally keep your knuckles clean. It has an innovative quick-clip handle for keeping track of it. It only weighs 0.4 oz. (11 g.). Sure, you can get lighter with a titanium spork, but if you're trying to save money for other gear, this is a great bet!
