The WickSilver™ moisture-management Ultralight Pack Towel by Discovery Trekking Outfitters is the most amazing, fast-drying fabric you’ll find. The fabric is designed to keep your skin dry when you sweat or after swim or shower, and features a natural anti-microbial to prevent odor. Silver fibers permanently knit into the fabric neutralize odor-causing bacteria. A patented bi-component knit construction uses different yarns on each side of the fabric, one that is optimized to move moisture away from the skin, the other to dry quickly. Although you can now find a similar version of these towels at REI, our towels are made specifically for us in a custom 24” x 24” size and with a custom fabric. These ultralight backpacking towels weigh 2 oz. and the material wicks rather than absorbs so they dry much faster than other lightweight towels, especially if you wring them out well after using. They can be used as a towel, neck wrap, and bandana.
