Please read our warranty policy below.

Your satisfaction is important to us, and we recognize the inherent difficulty in evaluating products that are primarily sold over the internet. If you get a product and it is not what you expected, please return it unused within 30 days of your purchase date for a refund of the purchase price. All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. To receive an RMA#, please login to your account that you created when you placed your order by clicking on the Login link at the top of the page. Select the order number and item that you wish to return.

When you receive your RMA#, please print out the RMA certificate and return it and the product(s) to our warehouse unless otherwise directed:

You are encouraged to purchase insurance and tracking information for your return parcel. We cannot be responsible for packages that are lost or damaged during return shipping.

Warranty Information

Some of the tradeoffs of designing with extremely lightweight materials are strength and durability. Gossamer Gear deliberately designs gear as light as functionally possible. It is up to the user to determine if an item of gear will serve their intended purposes. You cannot expect our equipment to stand up to the same use/abuse as gear weighing 2 - 5 times as much.

We warranty products we sell to be free from manufacturing defects. GOSSAMER GEAR DOES NOT WARRANTY PRODUCTS AGAINST MATERIALS OR FABRIC FAILURE DUE TO DURABILITY ISSUES. If you are unwilling to accept the limitations of the lighter materials used in our products, do not purchase them, or return them upon receipt in accordance with our return policy. Please note that due to use of extremely lightweight materials, the G5 and Whisper packs are sold with NO WARRANTY.

Some products by other manufacturers may have additional coverage under that manufacturer's warranty. These instances are indicated on the product information pages.
