Nimblewill Nomad Completes Epic Trek

Nimblewill Nomad

Starting back in 1998, on New Years Day, the man known to many as Nimbewill Nomad departed along the Florida National Scenic Trail from the Big Cypress National Preserve, near the Miccosukee Indian Reservation, deep in the Florida Everglades; though his sites were set on a larger, more long-term hiking goal.

Noon Sunday, September 9, 2012, Nimblewill Nomad (also a Gossamer Gear Trail Ambassador) reached the summit of Grand Monadnock Mountain, New Hampshire, thus completing his trek of the New England National Scenic Trail.

Starting in 1998 with and concluding in this year of 2012, September 9th marks Nimblewill's successful conclusion of his quest to hike all eleven of America's National Scenic Trails. Making him the second person, behind Bart Smith, to have documented this accomplishment.

Check his website for more information and details on this epic journey.
